Runs the 1990 Broderbund DOS build through js-dos browser emulation.
What it is
Stunts, released by Broderbund in 1990 and sold in Europe as 4D Sports Driving, is an early 3D driving game built around looping tracks, jumps and a track editor rather than straightforward circuit racing. It runs here through js-dos, a browser DOS environment, so the original executable and its deliberately slidey handling model are preserved. Mouse handling inside the DOS environment can be awkward, so fullscreen mode is worth trying if the pointer drifts.
What you need
- A desktop browser
- A keyboard, plus a mouse for the menus
- Patience with DOS-era mouse handling
How to open it
- Open the Stunts page on js-dos.
- Click the screen to capture input.
- Choose a car and track from the menu, and switch to fullscreen if the pointer misbehaves.
