Clean-room browser build of the N64-exclusive original, hosted by Decomp Games. Not a port of the PC Doom.
What it is
Doom 64 is the 1997 N64 entry, and it is not a port of the PC games: it has its own levels, its own darker lighting and a redesigned weapon set. That makes it worth playing even if you already know the PC Doom titles well. This build runs from the community decompilation of the N64 original.
What you need
- A desktop browser with WebGL
- A keyboard and mouse or a gamepad
- A modern browser with WebGL support
How to open it
- Open the Doom 64 build on Decomp Games.
- Wait for the loader.
- Check the in-game options for controls and brightness, since the original is deliberately dark.
