Clean-room decompilation with eight replacement mazes, hosted by Decomp Games. Audio is disabled by design.

What it is

Open Digger rebuilds Digger, the 1983 arcade game in which you tunnel through a maze collecting emeralds while dodging roaming enemies and dropping bags on their heads. This build pairs the Digger Remastered decompilation with eight independently designed mazes and a complete CC0 visual set, so it contains none of the original maps, graphics, fonts or tunes. Audio is disabled by design, and the deliberately geometric artwork looks nothing like the original.

What you need

  • A desktop browser
  • A keyboard
  • Around 5 MB of bandwidth for the first load

How to open it

  1. Open the Open Digger build on Decomp Games.
  2. Press Enter to start, then move and dig with the arrow keys.
  3. Press F1 to fire and Space to pause; F10 exits the game.
