Released as freeware by the publisher in 2003. Browser build hosted by Decomp Games.
What it is
Beneath a Steel Sky is Revolution Software's 1994 cyberpunk point-and-click adventure, set in a future Australia and following Robert Foster and his robot companion Joey. Its publisher released it as freeware in 2003, which is why it can be played legally at no cost. It runs here through a browser build of the original.
What you need
- A desktop browser
- A mouse
- Patience with adventure-game puzzles, which do not hold your hand
How to open it
- Open the Beneath a Steel Sky build on Decomp Games.
- Wait for the loader.
- Use the in-game menu for controls and saving, and save often.
